When every tenth of a second counts, you want to rely on the years of experience that will help you be consistency quick. For the development of the Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint an innovate top-of-the-line race simulator product, new testing met methods were enacted.

Made by CNC precision laser the stainless-steel pedals are strong, stiff, compact, and durable.
Through mathematical modelling, design tolerances have been optimised to minimise and unneeded play, this resulted in great predictability and accuracy of feel in all configurations for pedal travel, operating force.

New concepts were used to minimise the superfluous play in the bearings and pivot points. One million duty cycles were simulated with automated testing routines.

The load cells measure the position of the throttle and clutch pedals, and brake pressure. A true linear output in relation to your input on the pedal is provided by the load cells, which rotary potentiometer designs cannot achieve, this leads to unmatched accuracy and durability. As they do not wear over time.

The custom developed electronics accurately and instantly relay your pedal inputs to your favourite racing simulator software. Easy configuration of dead zones, brake force and customisation of (non-linear) pedal output curves is all enabled by the bundled SmartControl software.

Throttle

The throttle pedal is smooth, accurate and is hugely adjustable, given you the control that you need over any race car simulator. You can setup the throttle exactly to your liking by making use of the five pedal travel settings, adjustable pedal force curve, spring preload, pedal angle and pedal height.

Brake

The dual stage brake system entails an adjustable preliminary coil spring, simulating the pad to disc gap, and progressive rubber springs. Six different rubber stack heights can be used to adjust the pedal firmness, finally there are also adjustments possible for the pedal height and angle.

Installed with a 120kg load cell which measures up to 65kg (143lbs) of maximum actual brake force. This, ensures the brake pedal caters both for Sim Racers who like to apply significant force while braking but also for racers who like much lower operating forces.

Clutch

The typical concave clutch curve is simulated by the regressive spring mechanism featured in the clutch. Furthermore, the clutch features three pedal force curve settings, adjustable spring preload, pedal angle, and pedal height.

Electronics

A clean, minimalistic wire setup is achieved by all-new electronics which have been integrated into the brake pedal.

To shield it from moisture and dust, the controller board has received a conformal coating, and the product has been tested to be compliant with all applicable European EMC norms and regulations.

SmartControl

SmartControl, a powerful configuration tool, which allows you to setup your Sim Pedals Sprint for your race simulator in was never previously possible. It works in harmony with the all-new electronics, allowing for instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal dead zones, and brake pedal force.

All the adjustments can be made without having to recalibrate the pedals, including iRacing. Furthermore, all settings can be saved into profiles, which can be loaded again in a few mouse clicks.
