DOF Reality P6 Professional SIM Cockpit Overview
The DOF Reality P6 Professional SIM Cockpit is for public entertainment, VR and Arcade centres, it’s ideal for professional flight or racing simulators and if you plan to use it for more than 3-4 hours a day, it delivers all Six Degrees Of Freedom movements – surge; side to side, sway; left and right, heave; up and down, yaw left and right, pitch and roll. This unique platform can reproduce any possible motion! There is no other product on the market under £12,000 that can do what this platform does.
The P6 model is designed to move not only the seat, but all simulator controls such as steering wheel, joystick, pedals, throttles, etc., which are mounted to the motion platform.
You will feel like you really are driving a car or in the cockpit of a plane. When you move, everything moves with you!
The Platform is compatible with all existing VR systems such as: Google Daydream View, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive + Pro, and Sony PlayStation VR to name a few, but also any future VR systems. These give you complete with 360° audio and visual immersion, be that Race or Flight Simulation. If that is not enough, you can further enhance your SIM immersion with addons, such as the ButtKicker Bass shaker(s) or SRS ShakeKits so that you feel the vibrations of the road texture, the clunk of gear changes, the forces of collisions and contact (safely!), and even wind by the addition of the SRS Fan Kits, all additions available from BlueBoxSIMS.
It is very quiet especially compared to actuator-based platforms; you will hear only the cooling fans at 20 dBA.
It was designed with a minimum space requirement, and ease of assembly, so compact for home use yet powerful enough for commercial demands.
The DOF Reality Commercial P series platforms have a bit more force and speed than the Consumer H series. The P series platforms use industrial grade motors that can be used continuously for hours each day. Other than the motors, gearboxes, and power supply, the rest of platform is the same as the H series platforms. We recommend P series platforms for home use if daily sessions exceed 4 hours.
